By Laws of the nssc

  Abandonment Issues:

1. Any slave who has been left in an empty collar by an owner who has not been in rp and/or mun contact within the time frame of two mun weeks, and it is verifiable that this situation does exist, may declare a state of abandonment, and seek the NSSC to enable her back to an owned stature.

When such an existence becomes, the slave in question, will be placed in care of one of the slavers of the NSSC, for the period of one mun week in a belt, to allow the owner the opportunity to claim back that which is his/her property.

The NSSC will in that one mun week time frame, attempt to contact the

owner of the forgotten slave, to attempt a sale of the property. If the mun of

the slave so desires, a petition may be issued to one of the High Council

member for immediate action of resale.

The resale of the slave will be decided upon by decision of the High Council for the time of sale upon the auction block, be it a private or open event.

2. A most common and fortunate event for a slaver is to obtain property by contract. The contract will reflect the agreement of what is fully expected, outlining a gain, or advantage to each side within said contract.

3. When a slaver is making an attempt to place a collar upon prey, if the prey engages in dice rp by attempting to escape, and rolls the points, it is required then that you must use your dice granted to you by the NSSC. If the slaver's first attempt to counter the escape misses, he must then roll up to an additional two times before he is able to achieve collaring. If the prey has left the room, it is left to the slaver to decide to either end the hunt then, or to continue the chase, if the prey runs to an unprotected area. If immediate chase is sought, still the two attempts must be followed. If the prey goes to a safe haven, if contracted, it will be reported to the Caste Scribe as a failed mission and closed.WIth a contracted collaring, the prey may elect to roll at least 2d20, or the amount that is allotted to the prey by their caste, though their dice should indeed reflect to their station within Gor laws and their Caste, and the laws that may bind the sought prey. If the prey manages to escape by rolling a 20 or above, the prey then will be instantly set free, and will be granted another ten days minimum before the hunt may return by any slaver. One exemption to omit the 10 day minimum would be if the prey takes it upon its self to remain and taunt the slaver, by badgering, heckle, exasperate, and/or instigate the slaver, then the slaver may continue with the CM or collaring once again. An event like this will though require proof within the log that the prey instigated the initiation of the hunt to return before the ten day period. Again, it is most wise to keep a continuous logging session when you engage in such a story line. It is highly recommended that when you seek to use dice rolls, that you turn off all IMs as well. This is to allow the slaver freedom to concentrate on the hunt of the contract, and disallow any mun interference of complaints, this is a mere suggestion.

What MUST be Proctored and Logged:

4. There will be no release matches ( RMs) granted on a CM. If the prey belongs to a House and/or Caste, they negates their rights to an RM. This disallows the opportunity of any House and/or Caste member alliances at the time of the unfolding of the capture to negotiate the release of the sought prey. Any allies of the prey if present that may challenge and hinder a CM are no longer involved.* As with any acquired property, any allies may seek to purchase the collared property or pay for the release if the slaver so desires to accept.

5. This rule applies to instant releases only. The match is then fought to a score of 15. The Slaver using 2d22 and the target or mark using his/her Caste dice or 2d21 if the target has not claimed Caste. If the match is lost by the Slaver the target is free to go and will not be sought after for 30 days.

  The Gorean Cell Phone:

6. Gor Cellphones are too much a common problem these days upon Gor. In most cases, it is obvious that such calls have been made when prey often finds itself in a situation it desires not to be in. Then NSSC will ignore all such incidents that are most obvious by rendering verdict in the viewing of the log of the capture, and if you do not heed the warning of turning off IMs, any logs of parties called on behalf of the prey may be issued as well of the IMs. This is to ensure that the laws of Gor are in fact upheld by the honor of the prey's homestone and/or Caste. To engage in any form of rp, is consent in itself, to continue into a misfortunate event, in hopes of that fifty percent falling in your favor and ends up being the opposite, does not allow a player the ability call consent once time and effort has been engaged. Any player who goes the distance and desire to call consent, it is the slaver's duty then to kill the prey and send the logs so that the Caste Scribe may issue notice of the prey's death.

7. If a slaver is presented with a contracted acquisition, the slaver will retain the property for at the minimum of 3 mun days. After that time allotment, the slaver then may bring the property to the one who issued such a contract. In regards to if the property is male, during the 3 days of holding, he will be given chance for an escape if he so chooses. However, he may only use 1 die of his Caste in this attempt, instead of his normal issued two. ( ie: NSSC Elders roll 1d23). If the point of at least 18 is made, he has accomplished an escape. He as well can attempt at time of the fulfillment of the contract when he is handed to the one who issued said contract, using the same set of die.

  ~Stealing~

8. Slavers at times can not help but be slavers. Stealing is a practice that is scarce, but not beyond reasonable possibilities. A slaver may desire to take possession of another's property. If a steal is desired, it is required that the slaver must abide to the following.

9. The slaver will present the entire screen name of the desired property. Only two things may negate the steal of the property, a RM, or a proper legitimized return of the property. Lastly, after a steal has been successful, it is highly suggested that both the slaver and the property turn off IMs. As the captor, it is at the slavers advantage to disallow at this time any Gorean Cell phone occurrences. The location would have the slaver with the bolt to remove any interference unwanted if the property does not turn off their IMs and decides to disclose the location of the room to finish and seal the steal, giving the slaver the advantage to revoke the unwanted intrusion. After the steal has been successful, it is then required that the slaver scroll the owner/House of the property informing just where the property is now located and kept. The owner then will be given 24 hours period from the time noted that the scroll was read, OR seven mun days of the time of the steal, to be afforded the chance to schedule a time for an RM if the owner so desires.

  ~Capturing~

10. All NSSC Female Slaver will not participate in any field captures and collaring of any property. She may however, take any property that is unclaimed, bears no collar upon the beasts throat, and the slave willingly submits without fight and gives full authority and submits upon the slaves own free will. All logs pertaining to such a collaring would indeed need to reflect, that the kajirae has acted accordingly so to these said guidelines.
